The links and images below will allow you to view a conceptual landscaping improvement plan for the hillside area located just inside the Montreat Gate.  The plan was prepared by Landscape Architect Mary Weber, who has also done work at the Memorial Garden and Native Plant Garden on the opposite side of Assembly Drive.

Photos of the existing area are also included for comparison and reference.

Ms. Weber gave an initial presentation of this Plan at the October 13, 2011 Town Council Meeting.  Additional information concerning specific materials and surface treatments, estimated costs and options to complete the project in multiple phases will be presented to the Board in November.
