Latest Town Council Actions

At their October 7, 2010 Agenda Meeting, the Board of Commissioners took action on the following items:

  • Adopted Resolution #10-10-0002: Designation of Applicant's Agent.

Note:  Action was taken to approve this item at the Agenda Meeting due to deadlines imposed by Federal agencies. The Town is applying for FEMA grant funding to obtain an emergency generator for the Town Services Office.

At their October 14, 2010 Town Council Meeting, the Board of Commissioners took action on the following items:

  • Adopted Ordinance #10-10-0001 Amending Montreat Zoning Ordinance Section 630 "Driveway Connections."
  • Called for a Public Hearing on November 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to discussed proposed revisions to Montreat General Ordinance Chapter J, Articles I-IV "Minimum Housing Regulations."
  • Adopted Resolution #10-10-0001 to Undesignate Certain General Fund Reserve Balances.
  • Authorized advertisement of a Request for Letters of Interest for the Texas Road bridge replacement project contingent on approval by the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
